Amidst this, Lien Thanh’s director brought pineapples to an experiment with the thought of whether the pineapple with enzyme bromelain could make vegan fish sauce akin to the traditional fish sauce fermented from fish. The thought of the director was validated four months later when the staff who was in charge of quality control tested the essence and confirmed that it came with a “fish sauce” scent. That was the “Eureka” moment which marked the inception of Lien Thanh 5-Degree Vegan Fish Sauce as you know.
